Globe Telecom to offer new iPad in PH on May 29

MANILA, Philippines–Globe Telecom will offer the new iPad in the Philippines on Tuesday, May 29 with a range of attractive Tattoo data plans that will allow customers to connect to its nationwide network at speeds up to 42Mbps.

The third generation iPad is a category defining mobile device that features a stunning new Retina display, Apple’s new A5X chip with quad-core graphics and a 5 megapixel iSight camera with advanced optics for capturing amazing photos and 1080p HD video.

It also still delivers the same all-day 10 hour battery life while remaining amazingly thin and light.

    Globe selling new iPad w/ a 24-month lock-in period. If you go abroad, you have to pay the expensive roaming charges. You can’t ever use it’s LTE feature forever -which is one of the major features of the new iPad. Globe doesn’t have the LTE network capability yet. After the lock-in period, you have to jailbreak the iPad – not everyone supports jailbreaK!
