MANILA, Philippines – The Mobile Marketing Academy, the online learning program initiated by Mobext and the International Institute of Digital Marketing (IIDM), in partnership with the Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA), is now accepting new enrolees for its 2014 run. Featuring new speakers, updated learning modules, and additional case studies, the Academy will begin classes this June.

The program is 100% online and is open for marketing and advertising professionals who want to advance their skills in mobile. On its inaugural run, it saw enrolees from the Philippines, Vietnam, China, and Singapore.

The Mobile Marketing Academy will run for five weeks, and during this time, enrolees will be able to access over 100 case studies, learning modules for different mobile marketing toolkits, and case home work. They will also get exclusive webinars from regional speakers, such as:

  • Frans Biegstraaten, COO, BrandTone Asia-Pacific
  • Shobhit Shukla, VP – Asia Pacific, AdNear
  • Regina Goh, Head of Sales – Southeast Asia, Millennial Media
  • J. Alfonso de Dios, CEO, TelosMediaWorks
  • Arthur Policarpio, Head of Mobext, Asia-Pacific
  • James Breeze, CEO, Objective Asia

Enrolees who finish the course can also earn certification from the MMA Asia-Pacific by passing the Mobile Certified Marketer Exam™.

Speaking of this year’s program, Arthur Policarpio, head of Mobext Asia-Pacific and co-chair of the Mobile Marketing Academy said: “As mobile marketing grows, marketers need to be well-equipped to face the seismic changes that it will bring to their business. Through the Mobile Marketing Academy, we expect that enrolees will not only enhance skills, but they will also gain true appreciation of the possibilities in mobile.”

For Hans Roxas-Chua, co-director of the IIDM and co-chair of the Mobile Marketing Academy: “Very soon, experience on mobile will be required by leading companies across industries, and our program aims to lay down the groundwork to keep marketers ahead of the learning curve.”
