Two Filipinos qualify in international infographics contest vs pornography

MANILA, Philippines—Two Filipina professionals qualified in an international infographics contest aimed at fighting pornography, which the duo tagged “The Family Intruder”.
Sky Ortigas and Nirva Dela Cruz joined the infographics contest sponsored by CovenantEyes, a website that seeks to “equip people to protect themselves and their families from online dangers”.
The duo’s entry reflects the ills brought by pornography by citing its effects to each family member supported by statistical data.
Also, their infographic debunks myths on the effect of porn on the relationship among romantic partners, saying that those who are happily married need not resort to watching porn.
The tandem was quoted saying that their work is dedicated for Pope Francis who will be visiting the Philippines on January 15-19, 2015.
The winner of the contest will be decided via online voting where the winner will bag the $3,000 grand prize.
Over 160 submissions have qualified for the said contest.
