Aussie cops warn Pokémon Go users: No trespassing
While other countries bemoan the non-availability of Pokémon Go, a virtual multimedia game that allows users to catch Pokémon characters located in the”‘real world,” Australian gamers are on a thrilling journey to “catch ’em all.”
Police officers in the Australian city of Darwin have issued a statement after the game’s creators assigned one of its stations in Darwin as a collection point for a pokémon named Sandshrew. Other popular pokémon stops around Australia include the Circular Quay in Sydney, according to Huffington Post Australia.

The police station posted a statement on their Facebook page.
“For those budding Pokemon Trainers out there using Pokemon Go – whilst the Darwin Police Station may feature as a Pokestop, please be advised that you don’t actually have to step inside in order to gain the pokeballs,” the police station warned.
The post also added, “It’s also a good idea to look up, away from your phone and both ways before crossing the street. That Sandshrew isn’t going anywhere fast.”
Because of its exclusivity to Australians, New Zealanders other “trainers” in other countries like the Philippines are searching for alternative links where they can download Pokémon Go.
