Photos of US presumptive Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump cropped and pasted onto snippets of the popular children’s classic comics “Calvin and Hobbes” are intriguing Americans on social media.

The entertaining “Donald and Hobbes” sagas featuring the Republican nominee and Hobbes, a Tiger plushie that enacts a real tiger when bonding with Calvin, were posted on social media site Reddit. The creators were quick to notice the similarities of Trump’s statements and Calvin’s childish dialogues. The “petrifying” posts have managed to rack up hundreds of thousands of views each.

The comic strip cluster on Reddit was generated by a number of Reddit users. “Trump has the mind of a six-year-old, though perhaps not the vocabulary,” the post wrote. “He’s (Calvin) only six. Trump’s going on 70 and still hasn’t grown up.”
