A few Pokemon Go players were caught by surprise when a team of police officers conducted a check on them in Lebuh Acheh and Lebuh Cannon here following complaints of noise disturbances and traffic obstruction in the area.

George Town OCPD Asst. Comm. Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said a report was received from a resident, claiming that the activities of Pokemon Go players have disturbed the peacefulness of the area.
