Stolen Razer Project Valerie laptop spotted on Chinese shopping website

Razer got a massive headache at the conclusion of CES 2017 when two of their Project Valerie prototypes were stolen right out of their booth. Then somehow, one of these stolen laptops popped up on the Chinese online shopping website Taobao.
The Project Valerie laptop was being sold off for 150,000 yuan or roughly $21,700 (P1,000,000), reports TweekTown.
The price is exorbitant, taking into account the novelty of the triple-screen gaming laptop. As to how the item ended up being up for sale through the said online marketplace, Taobao has been known to harbor malicious sellers here and there.
Incidentally, Zing Gadget reports that the post was later taken down, which further brings the authenticity of the product to question.
As of this writing, Razer could use all the clues they can get, while this posting might just lead to the culprits that swiped the prototypes.
Razer is currently offering a $25,000 reward for information regarding their stolen products. Alfred Bayle
