While some of the references match up with the virtual representation, some have been obviously reworked to suit the game creator’s tastes.

“Persona 5” is the latest addition to the Persona game series and the larger “Megami Tensei” franchise. It follows the story of a silent protagonist and his classmates as they awaken to their Persona powers. They then become a masked vigilante group, dubbed the “Phantom Thieves of Hearts,” exploring the supernatural realm to steal the ill intent in the hearts of adults.

It takes a keen eye and a lot of free time to hunt for these real world locales, so it’s always a treat to see how dedicated some fans can be. JB
