WATCH: New game from Electronic Arts is about breaking out of prison

Electronic Arts (EA) is attempting to bring more variety to gaming with its new game “A Way Out”. The game can only be played cooperatively with another player whether in split-screen or online.

“A Way Out” is story-driven and will see players taking control of one of two inmates, Leo and Vincent. The players will then need to work together in order to make the inmates’ escape plan a success. While one player is watching a cut-scene, the other player can continue playing with their character to carry out the escape plan, reports The Verge.

“I wanted to make another game that pushed the boundaries on how to tell stories without compromising on gameplay,” said game writer and director Fares on stage during E3 2017.
