LOOK: Netizens oppose, make fun of ‘unli-rice ban’
While Sen. Cynthia Villar has already attempted to calm the public by clarifying that she is not planning to ban “unli-rice” promos in restaurants, netizens were quick to take to social media and post their reactions after news about the senator’s statements on how unli-rice can be unhealthy first broke out.
With an arsenal of memes at their disposal, netizens posted various tweets to share what they thought of a world without unli-rice.
To further get the point across that Sen. Villar is not banning unli-rice, she also shared her own meme about the topic on her official Twitter account.
“I cannot prevent people from eating unlimited amount of rice. It is their choice. It was just a genuine expression of concern on my part,” she earlier said in a report. JB
