DFA declines to comment on Filipino hackers’ attack on Chinese websites

After a group of Filipino hackers defaced almost 200 Chinese websites amid China’s incursions into the disputed Southeast Asian waters, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has refused to be goaded into commenting on the cybersecurity issue.

DFA issues advisory on delays in e-passport releases

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has issued an advisory saying that a machine breakdown would cause a “delay of two to three days” on the release of the electronic passports (ePassports) due from January 28 to February 2.
