Apple maps disaster may solve China-Japan islands row

Apple’s new iPhone 5 may have been criticized for its glitch-ridden new maps program, but it may have inadvertently provided a diplomatic solution to China and Japan’s ongoing row over disputed islands.

US, China to cooperate more on cyber threat

Asserting that cyberattacks against the US do not come only from China, the US and Chinese defense ministers said they agreed Monday to work together on cybersecurity issues to avoid miscalculations that could lead to future crises.
