The website of the Department of Education is still down after a cyber attack by hackers believed to be sympathetic with Taiwan in its row with the Manila government over the killing by the Philippine Coast Guard on Thursday last week of a Taiwanese fisherman in the Balintang Channel.

Robot hot among surgeons but FDA taking a new look

The biggest thing in operating rooms these days is a million-dollar, multi-armed robot named da Vinci, used in nearly 400,000 surgeries nationwide last year — triple the number just four years earlier.
