Netflix of video games: Twitch coming to PS4

Twitch will be coming to the Xbox One, as well as the PlayStation 4. By hitting the “Share” button on the Dualshock 4 wireless controller, PS4 users will be able to broadcast their gameplay directly to Twitch. AP

Twitch is another step closer to becoming the Netflix of the video game world.

A long awaited ‘Final Fantasy’ returns at E3

It’s a video game more than seven years in the making. Square Enix revealed Monday during Sony’s presentation at the Electronic Entertainment Expo that “Final Fantasy XV” would finally see the light of day. The latest entry in the long-running role-playing series was previously known as “Final Fantasy Versus XIII” and was first revealed at E3 way back in 2006.

Sony’s new-generation PlayStation 4 console scored an opening skirmish triumph over Microsoft’s Xbox One on the eve of the Tuesday start of premier E3 videogame conference here.

Sony on Monday provided the world the first look at its new PlayStation 4 console, promising to combine its film, music, television and game strengths in a powerhouse home entertainment box.

Sony bills PS4 console as gaming’s future

Sony unveiled a new generation PlayStation 4 system Wednesday and laid out its vision for the “future of gaming” in a world rich with mobile gadgets and play streamed from the Internet cloud.
