Moreover, the AI leaders shared their other visions of humanity’s AI future, such as having artificial intelligence that can make decisions themselves.

The future, according to Nvidia and Meta

The conversation started with the Meta CEO announcing the launch of AI Studio, a platform that will allow more people to create AI characters.

Later, Huang explained that artificial intelligence will become more widespread in the future. “Every single restaurant, every single website will probably, in the future, have these AIs…”

Zuckerberg agreed, adding, “… just like every business has an email address and a website and a social media account.”

“I think, in the future, every business is going to have an AI,” the Meta founder claimed.

Eventually, Huang praised Meta’s work and cited its advancements in computer vision, real-time translation and language models.

Then, Zuckerberg shared his vision for turning Facebook or Instagram into a single AI model.

In response, the Nvidia founder shared his idea of an AI that produces images in real-time as users type.

Future AI will also contemplate multiple options by itself, instead of waiting for human input. “Today’s AI is kind of turn-based. You say something, it says something back to you.”

“In the future, AI could contemplate multiple options or come up with a tree of options and simulate outcomes, making it much more powerful.”

SIGGRAPH 2024 also showed the two companies’ AI advancements.

Consequently, it showcased how the technology is improving significantly, thanks to Nvidia and Meta.

More importantly, Nvidia says these innovations will amplify human productivity and creativity.

“Imagine the stories that you’re going to be able to tell with these tools,” Huang said.
