Gamers can expect great products from HyperX in September. The gaming accessories brand announced it would offer two new monitors next month.
HyperX dubbed these QHD gaming monitors the Armada 25 and the Armada 27. The former costs $449, and the latter is $499. Also, the company designed them for gamers who prefer a minimalist desk setup.
What sets them apart from the competition is the accessories. They come with a versatile monitor arm and desk mount. These add-ons allow you to customize how you want to organize the display on your desk.
For example, mounting your monitor on a wall gives you more table space. You could choose the usual landscape orientation or twist the HyperX monitors.
They offer value for your money since they include monitor arms that usually cost roughly $100. Both will come with the Armada Single Gaming Mount, which costs $109.99 by itself.
Moreover, they share similar specs for size and resolution. The Armada 25 and 27 have IPS panels with matte textures and slim bezels. Also, HyperX says the panels could achieve a maximum brightness of 400 nits.
They boast 1ms response times and Nvidea G-Sync compatibility to manage adaptive sync with Nvidia GPUs. In other words, they will ensure your screen will show smooth and consistent movement for games.
The upcoming HyperX monitors also have two HDMI 2.0 ports and a DisplayPort 1.4 port. They will come with the corresponding cables, but the Armada 25 will offer a faster refresh rate than the Armada 27.
The former can achieve a 240Hz refresh rate, while the latter has 165Hz. As mentioned earlier, both monitors have IPS panels that can produce 400 nits of brightness. Yet, the Armada 27 will support Display HDR 400, but the Armada 25 will not.
HyperX claims both will offer decent color accuracy for their price, but each has a different color gamut. The Armada 25 will allegedly support 95% of the sRGB color gamut. Meanwhile, the Armada 27 monitor would cover 95% of the DCI P3 gamut.
HyperX said customers could add four 25-inch monitors or two 27-inch monitors with the $79.99 Armada Addon Gaming Mount. Overall, the included accessories give the HyperX gaming monitors a competitive edge.
