K-Logistikus Philippines expands fleet in Visayas and Mindanao as regional trade accelerates

K-Logistikus Philippines has expanded its truck fleet across the Visayas and Mindanao as economic activity in the regions continues to accelerate, reinforcing its capacity to support growing trade flows, regional manufacturing, and expanding retail networks outside Luzon.

K-Logistikus Philippines Expands Fleet in Visayas and Mindanao as Regional Trade Accelerates

The deployment responds to rising demand from businesses scaling operations amid improved infrastructure and stronger inter-island connectivity. By increasing fleet availability in key regional corridors, the company is improving cargo movement capacity, reducing delivery lead times, and enhancing service reliability for its customers.

This regional expansion builds on recent operational gains following the deployment of 20 additional four-wheel trucks across K-Logistikus Philippines’ Luzon hubs in San Fernando, Pampanga and Cabuyao, Laguna. The additional capacity strengthened throughput, reduced dock congestion, and improved just-in-time delivery performance by enabling more efficient load planning, dispatch scheduling, and faster truck turnaround times. Greater fleet control has also reduced reliance on third-party carriers while improving cost predictability and service consistency.

The same operational benefits are now being extended to the Visayas and Mindanao. Increased truck availability supports faster replenishment cycles, improved shipment visibility, and stronger service level agreement (SLA) compliance, particularly during demand spikes and peak seasons. Enhanced logistics efficiency also enables small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to expand market reach, optimize inventory movement, and respond more quickly to customer needs.

Beyond operational improvements, the expansion is expected to generate positive economic impact at the regional level. Additional fleet deployment creates employment opportunities for drivers, fleet support teams, and administrative personnel, while improved cargo mobility strengthens supply chains and business continuity for local enterprises.

K-Logistikus Philippines continues to prioritize investment in human capital as part of its growth strategy. Through its partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), the company ensures that both new and existing drivers undergo structured training focused on road safety, defensive driving, vehicle maintenance awareness, and professional discipline. Drivers who complete the program gain the skills and qualifications required to secure professional driver’s licenses, contributing to safer roads and higher industry standards nationwide.

“K-Logistikus Philippines’ expansion in the Visayas and Mindanao is a direct response to increasing demand and the confidence our partners have placed in us,” said Jay Capino, Director and Commercial Team Head of K-Logistikus Philippines. “This deployment is not just about adding more trucks—it is about strengthening regional supply chains, improving delivery reliability, and creating meaningful employment. As we grow alongside these regions, we remain committed to operational excellence, road safety, and long-term economic progress.”

With enhanced fleet management, GPS-enabled tracking, and stronger risk controls during periods of disruption, K-Logistikus Philippines continues to invest in a resilient logistics network that supports nationwide commerce. As economic momentum builds across the Visayas and Mindanao, the company stands ready to keep goods moving efficiently and communities connected.
