MANILA, Philippines – MPL Philippines Season 17 drew a sold-out crowd of more than 10,000 attendees for the Grand Finals and recorded the second-highest peak concurrent viewership in league history with 1.69 million.

The Season 15 Grand Finals between ONIC Philippines and Team Liquid Philippines (TLPH) remains the highest in peak viewers with its record-breaking 1.8 million.
Season 14 ranks third with 1.61 million peak viewers during the Grand Finals between Aurora Gaming and Fnatic ONIC Philippines.
Season 15 also marked the beginning of Team Liquid Philippines’ consecutive championship run, taking their three-peat trophy this season.
Meanwhile, over 13,000 joined the free Superfan City event outside the Filoil Centre in San Juan.
TLPH counting trophies
While this marked TLPH’s third consecutive championship as a franchise, it was also the organization’s fourth MPL Philippines title overall.

Combined with their stint as ECHO Philippines, they now own five titles.
Meanwhile, Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno and Jaypee Dela Cruz won their sixth regional championship.
Only Dave “Teddy” Viana secured his first championship, hitting a milestone as a player to win first place in his rookie season.
For the Finals MVP, Season 17 is Sanford Vinuya’s third MVP trophy. He previously won the accolade in Season 11 and Season 13.
To MSC at EWC
TLPH will return to the MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC) at the Esports World Championship (EWC) 2026 in Paris as its defending champions.
Joining them is Team Falcons Philippines, whose roster is eyeing their first MSC trophy.

This is also the first time an international MLBB event will be held in Paris, France after EWC announced its move away from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
