MANILA, Philippines – The DJI Osmo 360 II officially launched today with a P32,490 price for the standard combo, P34,490 for the limitless riding combo, and P39,490 for the adventure combo.
A year after the first DJI Osmo 360 launched, this new edition features upgrades that make action shots smoother and clearer.
The upgrades
Compared to its predecessor, the 360 II now supports 8K/60fps 360-degree video. Though the differences will not be noticeable to most, the 50fps to 60fps can provide smoother motion, allowing more flexibility for creators that require this footage.
Previously, the Osmo 360 had a 13.5 stop dynamic range. Now, with a 14.5 stop dynamic range, the 360 II allows the camera to retain more detail in both bright highlights and darker areas. This can be especially useful in bright, sunny areas or high-contrast environments.
Beyond its improvements in dynamic range, the 360 II also levels up its AI SuperNight feature.
The AI SuperNight 2.0 improves noise reduction in dark or dim environments. While this doesn’t remove it 100-percent, footage can be clearer.
Combined with the 14.5 range, the 360 II is a better companion in low-light conditions.
Slow-motion capture has also been upgraded, with the 360 II supporting up to 4K/240fps compared to 4K/120fps on its predecessor.
A big deal for those that aim to capture bigger movements, or action-packed footage.
The inclusions
The storage remains at 105 built-in storage. There is still no need to put in an SD Card, and paired with the DJI Mimo app, users can also quickly transfer and manage their footage.
Aperture remains at f/1.9 with a Dual 1/1.1″ square CMOS sensor.
The standard combo comes with the 2150 mAh battery, a productive pouch, cleaning cloth, USB-C charging cable, and the silicone lens cap.
The limitless riding combo includes the standard combo and clamp mount kit.
Then, the adventure combo has the standard combo plus a battery case with two additional batteries, a magnetic quick-release mount, and selfie stick.

Should you upgrade?
The 360 II isn’t a new design or a reinvention of the previous, but more of an update of its capabilities.
The upgrades combined together is where the differences become extra noticeable.
These upgrades are better recommended for those that aim to capture intense footage and action-packed sceneries. However, it may not be for those that have used their 360 to capture everyday moments.
