‘Cyber law should be amended’—Inquirer.net survey

MANILA, Philippines—Many Filipinos believe the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 should be amended, the Inquirer.net survey said Monday.

About 56.07 percent voted for the cyber law’s amendment, 30.28 percent believed it should be repealed while 13.65 percent wanted it to remain as it is.

On October 9, the Supreme Court stops the implementation of the law after a deluge of protests from various sectors and 15 petitions filed at the high court.
