SC resumes oral arguments on cybercrime law

MANILA, Philippines – The Supreme Court resumed hearing oral arguments against the Cybercrime law on Tuesday, according to a report on Radyo Inquirer 990AM.

The report also said that the Manila Police District (MPD) beefed up security on the stretch of Padre Faura St. in anticipation of the protests against the implementation of the law.

There are fifteen (15) petitions filed in the Supreme Court against the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.

The government, through Solicitor General Francis H. Jardeleza, will present its arguments for the law. John Daryl Dimalanta
