What’s at stake? PDI views on INQSnap

MANILA, Philippines—Some of the Inquirer editorials this election season have proven controversial or gone viral, including one on senatorial candidate Nancy Binay and another on the so-called White Vote.

Now nine of the editorials have been gathered together in one file—and the reader can reread them through the newly upgraded Inquirer Mobile app.

There’s a bonus: Since Saturday, each download of the Inquirer Mobile app, free from the App Store or Google Play, gives the reader a weekly chance to win an Inquirer Tablet.

The editorials see the election as determining the fate of the Aquino administration’s reformist initiatives, but also identify the obstacles, some of them placed there by the administration itself, that are standing in the way.

Monday’s front page also “carries” emergency or hotline numbers and website addresses, for election-related concerns. Like the editorials, they can be accessed through the Inquirer Mobile app’s INQSnap function.

The app is available for smartphones or tablets using iOS or powered by Android.

To use INQSnap, open the Inquirer Mobile app and then press the INQSnap button at the bottom. Focus on the page with an INQSnap logo (the page, not the logo) and wait for the icons to appear on the device. Then click on any of the icons to enjoy the additional content, including photo galleries and even video.
