LTFRB complaints go cyber

Apart from the new Facebook page of the LTFRB, commuters can still call the office’s hotline at 459-2129.

MANILA, Philippines—Commuting complaints goes into cyberspace.

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board has set up a Facebook page to let commuters air their grievances regarding public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers and operators.

Named LTFRB Citizen Enforcer, the page currently has 890 likes, and according to its administrators, commuters’ problems would be relayed to the proper department of the LTFRB.

The page would use the same hotline as the LTFRB, 459-2129, and complaints that would request a hearing would be relayed to the board’s legal department.

It was setup on Jan. 19.
