MANILA, Philippines—Her son reclaimed the welterweight throne once again, and she has promptly claimed social media prominence. Heck, she may even be called Queen D.

After Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao won back the World Boxing Organization Welterweight belt against Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley Sunday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Dionisia Pacquiao quickly approached the fallen American.

Mommy D, as she is fondly called, was probably the first to console Bradley from the Pacquiao camp, giving the American some motherly love.

And Mommy D did not disappoint, claiming the 8th spot on the World’s trending topics on Twitter as of 1:30 p.m. (Manila time).

The clip of the 64-year-old Mommy D praying intently has gone viral. But some netizens said that she  looked like she was putting a voodoo spell on Bradley during the fight.

“Mommy D. you’re not supposed to do magic outside Hogwarts! The Ministry will hear about this,” one Twitter user said.

Even British host and journalist Piers Morgan said that he “loves Pacquiao’s mother.”

Another netizen raised the flags of Filipino mothers.

“One thing that Mommy D proved is that you don’t ever mess with a Filipino mom and her son.”

As an act of sportsmanship, Mommy D gave Bradley a tight hug and a motherly kiss.
