MANILA, Philippines – This coming November 19, the CMO Mobile Summit will be back after a successful launch last 2013.

Positioned as a conference for CMOs, CEOs, category heads, and digital decision makers in the Philippines, the one-day event will bring to light the key opportunities, trends, and challenges, that today’s marketers need to address when it comes to mobile marketing.

Mobile advertising is currently an $18-billion opportunity, as estimated by Gartner. Asia Pacific is expected to be the biggest driver of this growth, and the steady rise of smartphone adoption in the Philippines makes it one of the region’s top emerging markets.

To address this growth, the CMO Mobile Summit 2014 will take on the theme “Making Mobile Work,” focusing on different applications of mobile in three key areas: brand building, commerce, and customer loyalty. There will also be a plenary on mobilizing the organization, teaching marketers how they can build a culture of innovation within their company. The event is endorsed by the Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA), and is co-organized by leading mobile marketing agency Mobext and the International Institute of Digital Marketing (IIDM).

Key regional speakers for the CMO Mobile Summit 2014 include Rohit Dadwal, Managing Director of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) APAC, Andrew Knott, Vice President for Digital & Media, McDonald’s APMEA, Jonathan Nadiranto, Director of Sales at Spotify Asia, and Paul Bedi, Head of Retail & Mobile Strategy, Cards and Unsecured Loans, of DBS Bank, Singapore. More speakers will be unveiled soon.

Speaking of the event, Arthur Policario, Head of Mobext Asia-Pacific and Co-Chair of the CMO Mobile Summit 2014, said: “Since the first CMO Mobile Summit, mobile has grown to be a larger part of the conversation in each organization. This year’s event will be a great opportunity to hear case studies from speakers who were able to make mobile work for their own companies, and at the same time, network with fellow decision-makers to push mobile marketing forward in the Philippines.”

Hans Roxas-Chua, Co-director of the IIDM Program and Co-Chair of the CMO Mobile Summit 2014, added: “Mobile has so much untapped potential here in the Philippines. It is the most used device of Filipinos, always on 24/7. The goal of the CMO Mobile Summit is for every attending CMO to walk out of the event ready to give mobile a bigger role in their strategy.”

Only 350 slots are available for the CMO Mobile Summit. CMOs, marketing heads, and digital leaders, may request for an invitation at the CMO Mobile Summit website. Take advantage of the Super Early Bird rate at Php 8,900, which will run until September 29. The regular rate is at Php 10,900
