MANILA, Philippines — For one day only, speakers from Facebook, Spotify, McDonald’s APMEA, and the Mobile Marketing Association, will come to the Philippines to lead the discussion about mobile at the CMO Mobile Summit 2014. This will happen next week, November 19, at The Tent at Enderun.
The CMO Mobile Summit is co-organized by the Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA), and the program was crafted to address the most pressing needs of our country’s advertisers.
“Local advertisers all know that the Philippines is a mobile-first country. They are well-aware that we have some of the most mobile-engaged consumers, and that smartphone usage is growing vs. other media channels. The next step is to equip them with the right tools so they can start to tie in mobile into their marketing strategy,” said Digna Santos, Executive Director of PANA.
With this objective, the CMO Mobile Summit has adopted the theme “Making Mobile Work,” focusing on tactical, practical, and actionable tips for marketers.
The keynote speech will be given by Rohit Dadwal, Managing Director of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) APAC. Other regional speakers include Deepesh Trivedi, Head of Retail and eCommerce – Southeast Asia, Facebook, Andrew Knott, Vice President for Digital and Media, McDonald’s APMEA, Jonathan Nadiranto, Director of Sales – Asia, Spotify, and Paul Bedi, Head of Retail & Mobile Strategy for Cards and Unsecured Loans, DBS Bank.
Apart from the lectures, other key sessions include:
- A CEO-CMO Dialogue between Noel Lorenzana, CEO of TV5, and Margot Torres, Senior VP for Marketing and Communications, McDonalds’, to talk about the evolving roles of marketers in the connected age;
- A panel discussion called “Mobile Advertising that Works,” discussing native mobile ads, mobile videos, location-based advertising, and programmatic buying. It will be led by representatives from AdNear, Inmobi, Vdopia, and StrikeAd; and
