MANILA, Philippines—The same hactivists who broke into Globe Telecom’s website on Friday attacked more Philippine-based websites the day after.
The group, calling itself BloodSec International, defaced the websites of bills payment center Expresspay, the government’s Technical Education and Skills Development –Calabarzon and even that of the non-profit medical group Philippine Society of Nephrology.
“Your sites security has been compromised by #BloodSecurity. All your data belongs to us now,” read the group’s message posted on the websites it broke into.
Even the AMA Bank car loan service’s cybersecurity was breached. AMA Bank is an affiliate of technology school AMA Computer College.
On Friday, four business sites of Globe were hacked, with BloodSecurity citing the telecom giant’s “poor internet connection service” as reason for the attack.
