Four students from the International School Manila are bound for the United States this week to enter a robotics competition.
The team, which will compete in the VEX Robotics World Championship in Luoisville, Kentucky, consists of Filipinos Nico Te and Martin Narciso, Indonesian Martin Krisnato-Putra and Korean Jupiter Lee.
The students will face hundreds of teams from around the world during the course of the four-day event.
They will be tasked to create and control a robot which will build towers and score objects faster than their opponent inside a square arena.
This will be the first time for the Philippines to send representatives to compete in the tournament. Ed Glorious Cabading, INQUIRER.net trainee/IDL
