In a battle between man and a machine, man prevailed.
A 37-year-old man from Colorado Springs in the United States got frustrated with his computer that he shot it eight times with a Hi-Point 9-mm pistol in an alley.
Colorado Spring Gazette reported on Tuesday that Lucas Hinch was cited for “discharging a weapon within city limits.”
“He got tired of fighting with his computer for the last several months,” Lt. Jeff Strossner was quoted as saying.
“He was having technology problems, so he took it out in the back alley and shot it,” he added.
The paper reported that Hinch was not aware that “he was breaking the law when he went Wild West on that useless piece of technology.”
A judge is yet to determine the penalty that he will receive for “executing” the computer. AJH/RC
