After twitting former Bayan Muna representative Teddy Casiño for his critique of Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach’s response during the interview portion of the Miss Universe pageant, comedienne Ethyl Gabison, popularly known as Ethel Booba, revealed on Wednesday that there is no bad blood between her and the militant leader.

She said this after Casiño jokingly replied to her viral tweet.

“Now I know how it feels to be burned/flamed on Twitter courtesy of @IamEthylGabison. #FeelingEffigy,” Casiño posted.

To which, Gabison responded, “Sir, I don’t (intend) to burn someone (with) that tweet. I hope no one will accuse me as arsonist like before. Charot!”

It can be recalled that Gabison was accused of starting fire in her own condominium unit several years ago.

The two then proceeded to follow each other on the social networking site.

“Nag-congratulate si Miss Colombia at nag-sorry si Miss Germany kay Pia. Walang issue samin ni Sir Teddy Casiño kaya World Peace tayo (let’s advocate world peace). Charot,” she said.

Gabison’s tweet went viral when she roasted Casiño and other militant leaders who critiqued Wurtzbach’s answer to the question “Do you think the US should have a military base in the Philippines?”

Wurtzbach answered, “I think that the United States and the Philippines [have] always had a good relationship with each other. We were colonized by the Americans and we have their culture in our traditions even up to this day. I think we’re very welcoming to the Americans, and I don’t see any problem with that at all.”

Casiño opined that “she could have at least acknowledged that there are problems that have to be addressed (regarding) US bases in PH.”

But Gabison quoted his tweet and said, “It’s your job in Congress and you have more than 30 seconds to do that. Charot! #MissUniverse2015 #IsTeddyCasiño.”

The tweet, as of this writing, has been retweeted more than 6,000 times and liked more than 10,000 times.

She added: “Pia Wurtzbach was there to win the crown of Miss Universe 2015 and not to please the activist groups. Charot!” IDL
