A total of 917 out of 2,482 examinees passed the recent licensure examination for electronics engineers, while 985 out of 1,196 passed the electronics technician board exam, the Professional Regulation Commission said Thursday.
Data from PRC showed that the University of the Philippines Diliman topped the electronics engineer licensure exam with 90.48 percent, while the Mapua Institute Technology in Manila aced the test for electronics technicians with a perfect passing rate.
The PRC requires at least 50 examinees with 80 percent passing rate for a school to be declared as top performing.
Paul Quibuyen from the University of the East Manila topped the electronics engineer licensure exam with 89.30 percent, and Robin Miranda from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines topped the exam for electronics technician with 94 percent. YG/TVJ
