Are you ready to take the #MMShakeDrill dance challenge?

The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has come up with an entertaining invitation for the public to join the Metro Manila-wide earthquake drill on June 22.

A video posted by the MMDA on its Facebook page on Monday showed two traffic enforcers entering the frame with their motorcycles, then danced to Peaches and Herb’s “Shake Your Groove Thing.”

The 0:35-second video has since gone viral, as it has been viewed more than 400,000 times, and has been shared by more than 6,000 Facebook users as of posting time.

MMDA then tagged Top Gear Philippines and host James Deakin to take on the #MMShakeDrill dance challenge.

To which Deakin replied: “Bring it!”

Administrators of Top Gear Philippines Facebook page said: “We’re thinking of dancing to ‘Milkshake’.”

The first metro-wide quake drill was conducted on July 30, 2015 to educate the public on what to do in case a major earthquake hits the National Capital Region. AJH/IDLrga
