According to Business Insider, the coding course will be made available to kids ages 8 to 12 years in an upcoming summer camp. Apart from the usual i-Movie and interactive storytelling classes, children will have the option to get involved with programming robots and coding games.
Software from Tynker will be the tool of choice for teaching the basics of coding through blocks that animate characters and move robots.
Earlier at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), Apple introduced Swift Playgrounds, an iPad game-based app that teaches kids basic coding principles.
It’s not surprising that in the coming years, there will be more 9-year-olds who enjoy developing apps at such a young age. Alfred Bayle
