WATCH: Sheep View 360 gives tour of Faroe Islands

When Google refuses to come and map out your area, what do you do? Visit Faroe Islands decided that the woolly critters that freely roam the landscape would come in handy and thus Sheep View 360 was born.

The project is part of an ongoing campaign by the organization to get Google Street View to map out the islands, according to a report from Mashable. Durita Dahl Andreassen, a member of the organization, suggested conscripting one of the island’s sheep citizens to wear a 360-degree camera on its back and just go about its business.

The Faroe Islands are a remote archipelago off northwestern Scotland. It is currently inhabited by less than 50,000 humans and over 70,000 sheep.  Alfred Bayle
