The Nuremberg toy fair has featured what is officially Lego’s largest Technic set to date, the Bucket Wheel Excavator.
The Technic set comes with over 3,900 pieces and will be available starting Aug. 1, Gizmodo reported. When completed, the excavator stands 16 inches tall and measures 28 inches long when the rotating bucket is fully extended. It can move around using tank threads and includes features such as a working conveyor belt and a rotating superstructure.
No information about the price has been released yet, but to ensure that customers get their money’s worth, the set comes with a motor to run the excavator’s functions and a scaled, steerable dump truck. It also includes instructions for an alternate Mobile Aggregate Processing Plant build. Alfred Bayle
