WATCH: Homer Simpson ‘plays’ Pokémon Go while kids in danger

Parents, don’t leave your children unattended!

American all-time favorite cartoon “The Simpsons” has produced a timely segment that illustrates the bad effects of parents while playing the viral smash hit game Pokémon Go.

The show’s producers have reworked an episode entitled “A Tree Grows in Springfield” depicting a busy Homer Simpson “catching” pocket monsters while his kids Bart and Lisa were touring the Springfield Zoo.

In the hilarious skit, Homer is distracted from the mobile game as Bart and Lisa calls his attention.

“Dad, pay attention to your children,” Lisa calls out. Homer drops his smartphone and notices Bart hugging a lion. Instead of hysterically rescuing him, he snaps them for his wallpaper. Bart left the lion and pranked Homer by faking his injury. Furious, Homer perilously throws his son into the lion’s den.

The one-minute clip was uploaded on video-sharing site YouTube by Animation on Fox. It flocked nearly 743,000 views since its posting on Saturday.  Gianna Francesca Catolico
