With Pokemon Go officially going live in the Philippines last Saturday, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) issued some reminders to Pokemon trainers if ever they will decide to go to their office to catch some Pokemon.

In a Facebook post, the MMDA social media team revealed that their main office at Orense St. in Makati City has been designated as the “Wallflowers Pokemon Gym,” a nod to the wallflower design in the building’s facade.

The MMDA said that trainers wearing shorts, slippers, and sando will be denied entry to the building.

“Alinsunod sa pagkakatalaga ng MMDA building bilang ‘Wallflowers Pokemon Gym’ kung saan maaaring i-train ang mga Pokemon bago sumalang sa Pokemon battles, mahigpit na pinapaalalahanan ng pamunuan ng MMDA sa ahensya na hindi papapasukin ang sinumang naka-tsinelas, shorts, sando,” the advisory read.

It also reminded the public that those who will go to the building during the late hours to train their Pokemons will be apprehended.

“Magdamag na roronda ang aming mga gwardya upang hulihin ang sinumang lalabag,” the advisory said.

Pokemon Go, an augmented reality game by Niantic, Inc., first went live in the US, Canada, New Zealand, and Japan.

Last Saturday, the game also went live in other Asia and Oceania countries like Brunei, Cambodia, Fiji, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Solomon Islands Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and Federated States of Micronesia. AJH
