The PS4.5 Neo is nothing new to most gamers as it has been an open secret to the community for quite some time. However, Sony wants to make it official and is set to unveil the console on Sept. 7.
TechRadar reports that the 4K-ready gaming console may also be unveiled with a slimmer version of the PS4 at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS).
In the wake of the introduction of this much-awaited console from Sony, competitors Microsoft and Nintendo are slated to launch their own machines. Microsoft has already announced its Xbox One S during its E3 keynote. It will be capable of 4K Blu-ray playback and High Dynamic Range gaming.
Nintendo, on the other hand, will unveil its next-gen console, the Nintendo NX in March next year. Alfred Bayle
