In what could only be considered as absolute irony, Adblock Plus, a popular browser extension, calls out on Facebook and refers to the company as becoming “anti-user.”

The irony comes from the fact that Adblock Plus has a history of being accused of taking payments to whitelist ads from large companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft and ad-serving company Taboola, The Next Web reports.
Taking payment to whitelist companies and their ads fundamentally goes against what the service promises,er which is to block all ads. A classic case of a pot calling a kettle black. Alfred Bayle
