This is what happens when a dolphin is exhausted from being gawked at and pictured.
A mischievous dolphin at SeaWorld Theme Park in Orlando, Florida, in the US “grabbed” a female tourist’s iPad while she was taking pictures.
Facebook user Kuadiel Gomez was filming her 14-month-old son interacting with the aquatic creatures when the “confiscation” happened. She uploaded the video on Facebook on Monday.
“I couldn’t believe what was happening right in front of me,” Gomez told Fox 13 News. “They’re usually kind of friendly and just swimming around. They go on the ledge every now and then, but that day, I don’t know, they seemed like they didn’t want to get petted that much or touched,” Gomez told the news site.
The woman managed to grab her iPad back and left the area while the jubilant dolphin gloated on its victory.
Gomez recounted that some dolphins glided near the crowd and splashed water onto them.
The clip uploaded on Gomez’s account has so far garnered some 310,000 views and the same clip uploaded on Fox 13’s page has accumulated 11 million views.
“I’m glad it reached as many people as it reached to make them smile and laugh because I know I was laughing the whole time,” Gomez said. Gianna Francesca Catolico
