Ghostbuster Leslie Jones returns to Twitter after cruel hacks

A good-spirited Leslie Jones has made a comeback on Twitter after trolls bullied and hacked her account.

The “Saturday Night Live” alumnus and “Ghostbusters” star on Saturday posted a series of tweets about comic books and ’80s hits.

Jones, 48, abstained from her Twitter account last July after racist trolls vaporized her account with mean and obscene tweets. The following month, hackers defaced Jones’ iCloud and official website, surfacing her nude photos and personal information. Several Hollywood personalities including Katy Perry and director Ava DuVernay rallied behind Jones.

Milo Yiannopoulos, a Breitbart News technology editor who led the social media hate mob targeting Jones, was permanently barred from the social networking site.

Jones thanked her supporters on Sunday with a pair of tweets.

The “Ghostbusters” star also launched a campaign to support African-American gymnast Gabby Douglas, who faced vicious online criticism during the 2016 Rio Olympics.  Gianna Francesca Catolico
