Who says a 6-year-old girl can’t have an epic birthday party? Not Leah Saldivar.
Because of her affection for Canadian rapper Drake, she requested her mother, Alexis Gomez, to give her a Drake-themed sixth birthday party.
Her wish came true when Gomez just threw a birthday on Sunday teeming with Drake balloons and tiny fake $100 bills. The birthday cake was emblazoned with Drake’s OVO symbol.
Gomez thought of a birthday party theme that would entertain her daughter, who is an avid fan of the “Hotline Bling” singer, Buzzfeed reported. She surprised her with an extravaganza of everything and anything about Drake.
“She loves everything about his music,” Gomez spoke to Buzzfeed. “She recently said she wanted to marry Drake when she’s older.” Amusingly, Saldivar’s favorite song is “Child’s Play,” from Drake’s 2016 album “Views.”
Gomez’s bestie Abby Marquez posted photos of the birthday bash on Twitter, which got 15,000 retweets and 24,500 likes on Wednesday. Gianna Francesca Catolico
