Oops! Norwegian PM caught playing Pokémon Go in Parliament

While Pokémon Go’s popularity is slowly dwindling in other countries, it still remains a hit among Norwegian politicians, including the Prime Minister, Erna Solberg.

Solberg was “guilty” of being hooked to the augmented reality game during a hearing in the Parliament on Tuesday, The Guardian revealed. Widely known as a fan of Pokémon Go, she was pictured playing the game. In fact, during a recent trip to Slovakia, she told reporters that she was on a quest to catch rare Pokémon monsters while in the country.

Solberg was not the only Norwegian public servant spotted “catching” gallivanting pocket monsters. Liberal Party leader Trine Skei Grande was also spotted tinkering with her phone for pocket monsters during a national security meeting in August.

In a tweet on Wednesday, Grande responded to the country’s talk of the town. “…[W]e ladies can do two things at the same time you know,” she said in a tweet translated by The Guardian.  Gianna Francesca Catolico
