Coldplay’s confirmation of its once in a lifetime concert in the Philippines next year has sent the internet abuzz, dominating trending topics on social media on Tuesday.
But for most netizens, who joked of selling kidneys and hunting wanted persons to afford concert tickets, the dream of watching Coldplay’s Manila leg of its “A Head Full of Dreams” tour is just… a dream.

In a Twitter poll conducted by INQUIRER.net, 58 percent of respondents said they will be “Team Bahay/Labas” on April 4, 2017, the date of the Coldplay concert at the open-air SM Mall of Asia grounds.

Nineteen percent said they are Team Gold/Silver/Bronze with tickets costing P12,500, P7,500, and P3,500 respectively.
Team VIP (P22,500) / Platinum (P17,500) got 16 percent, while seven percent picked Team GA or general admission (P1,800).
Coldplay’s Manila gig is part of an ongoing tour to promote its seventh and latest studio album “A Head Full of Dreams.”
The British superstar band is also going to hold concerts in Singapore (April 1), Taiwan (April 12), South Korea (April 15) and Japan (April 19). YG
