Back in E3, it was announced that classic PSone title Crash Bandicoot woule be getting an HD makeover for the PS4. PlayStation Experience 2016, held in California over the weekend, showed the progress of this project with a gloriously high definition preview clip.

Officially titled as the “Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy,” it seems that the game will span from the first game up to “Crash Bandicoot: Warped.” According to the official PlayStation blog, a few new features will also be added apart from the full HD overhaul.

Prior to this, Crash Bandicoot also appeared in the game “Skylanders” as a playable character.

New HD character models were also created to breathe new life into the cast.  Image PlayStation Blog
