Willie Revillame’s metal mix of his famous drum solo has mesmerized Facebook netizens, many of whom pleasantly surprised to know that he once was a professional drummer.
Facebook page Intergalactic Burnik posted a modified version of the “Wowowin” host’s opening drum number for his show’s episode aired last Sept. 12.
Divergent to the original segment, the Facebook user slammed it with a metal rock track and quickened Revillame’s hand movements.
The video clip uploaded on Monday has been streamed 570,000 times as of this writing. Netizens praised Revillame, at the same time feeling “motivated” to harness their own drum skills. “Si Kuya Will ang nagbigay sa’kin ng will to live (Will gave me the will to live),” one user said.
Another said, “Posible[ng] marami dito ang hindi alam na drummer talaga si Willie Revillame (It’s possible that many don’t know that Willie Revillame is indeed a drummer).”
