Church accidentally prints Tupac’s ‘Hail Mary’ on pamphlet

Participants at a Christmas caroling service in Colombo, Sri Lanka rolled their eyes upon seeing that they have a “lewd” addition to their song list this year.

Twitter user Ravindu Thinamantha snapped a page of “Joy To The World 2016” pamphlet, which accidentally featured Tupac Shakur’s explicit rap ditty “Hail Mary” instead of the traditional Christian hymn, the Independent reported. The 1997 rap song included lyrics such as “Revenge is like the sweetest joy next to gettin’ p****”, “I’ll be down in the dark /thuggin’ eternal through my heart” and “Mama told me never stop until I bust a nut / f*** the world if they can’t adjust, it’s just as well, Hail Mary.”

Thinamantha’s tweet caused a Twitter frenzy with 22,000 likes and 18,000 retweets as of Tuesday afternoon.

The Christmas event was organized to raise funds for poverty alleviation programs in the country.

Tupac, 25, was cryptically gunned down in 1996, and his puzzling case is unsolved until today. “Hail Mary” was his final single, released later after his death. Gianna Francesca Catolico
