Thought it was a scene from a Jurassic spin-off? Think again.
A heavyweight alligator spotted in Florida, USA, has raised eyebrows on social media. In a video uploaded by Facebook user Kim Joiner uploaded on Monday, the giant reptile is seen crossing a trail at the Circle B Bar Reserve, where several onlookers were also filming it.
“I love Circle B,” Joner captioned her viral clip. “Nature at its best.” Some Facebook users recognized the savage creature, named “Humpback” after his giant curve on its spine.
“I am out there a lot taking pictures and walking,” she told Huffington Post. “The gators cross often and I saw this one coming so I wasn’t scared, just gave him space. They just want to cross from one marsh to the other.”
