Many Filipino netizens felt the joys and pains of Valentine’s Day after watching the viral “Kwentong Jollibee” commercials from the popular fast-food chain. It turned out that many foreign YouTubers couldn’t hide their deep emotions for the advertisements as well.
Some American YouTubers shared their heartwarming reactions upon streaming the trilogy ads entitled “Date,” “Vow” and “Crush.”
HighKnucklesTV, a highly-popular channel spearheaded by an American duo, said they got goosebumps and were tears after watching all the three viral commercials.
“I’ve never been emotional about a food commercial,” the guy said upon watching “Crush.” “This one was good. I’m so happy he got the girl.”
He added: “This is a freaking commercial for a restaurant, for a Valentine’s Day commercial…It came from nowhere, [and] was not expecting this. Whoever is in charge of marketing is like next level…Hats off [and] I’m gonna take my hat off.”
Meanwhile, Adobo Sandwich, a YouTube account run by a Fil-Am and his American girlfriend, also expressed their amazement and grief after watching the climax of “Vow.”
Achilles Reacts, a channel with 14,000 subscribers, was left watery-eyed with the videos.

Other YouTubers felt Jollibee’s Valentine’s frenzy, such as Josh Dove, Angelina Eonni88 and Iklan Super Sedih from Indonesia.
