With just over a week left before Nintendo Switch launches, Nintendo has allowed for Nintendo account user IDs to be registered for their new console.
The new registration is apparently set to replace the older Nintendo Network ID from previous consoles, reports Engadget.
This information was initially funneled from a known source of Nintendo-related updates, Wario64.

If you’re planning to buy, or have already pre-ordered the Switch, now would be a good time to register your preferred account ID – or heaven forbid, someone already registers “MarioxLuigi” before you do. Alfred Bayle/JB
